Sami
Sami is the first port to be met if someone comes to the island by sea and this is why it is one of the most important villages of the island joining it to Ithaca, Igoumenitsa, Patras and Italy. Mountains and beaches with deep blue waters and sand or pebbles compose the landscape of the village. It is worth visiting the beaches of Antisamos and Aghia Paraskeevi. There are many caves existing in the region making it an ideal destination for people who love nature and the magic of exploration. Apart from being a modern village Sami has a significant history which is displayed by the ancient Acropolis, which dominates the hill of Sami
